Who we earn from
WildMorrow participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
We also participate in other affiliate networks, including AvantLink and CJ Affiliate, which connect us with outdoor retailers and gear brands directly.
What this does and does not change
It does not change what we recommend. We choose products on the merits. Commission rate is not an input into what goes into a guide, and a number of the products we recommend most often earn us nothing at all.
It does not change what you pay. Affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer out of their margin. The price is identical whether you use our link or go direct.
It does mean we have a financial interest in you buying things. We think you should factor that in when you read us, the same way you would factor it in reading any publication funded by advertising. Our response to that conflict is to be willing to tell you not to buy, and if you read our guides you will find we do, regularly.
How to spot the links
Product links on this site are affiliate links unless noted otherwise. Every post containing them carries a disclosure at the top, above the content. Our gear recommendation blocks are affiliate placements by design.
If you would rather not use them, search for the product directly. We would rather you got the right gear than that we got the commission.
